»The Joy of Graphic Design« is a three-day festival offering a conference, night-workshops, exhibitions, the »ABOUT« Independent Publishing Fair, concerts, DJ-sets, parties, cold drinks, tattooing, a print-shop and waffles. The festival will take place on the weekend from 28 to 30 September in Hamburg’s Oberhafen.

We want to put Hamburg’s contemporary graphic design under the spotlight and network with the international design scene. What is more, we want to create an environment which allows people to be inspired and which provides the opportunity for exchanges.

The focus will be on motivation, freedom and gaining new perspectives for the Hamburg design scene, which will be reflected both contextually and spatially in the conference, workshops and exhibitions.

»The Joy of Graphic Design« is a joint project by Here We Go and I Like Birds.
